Chapter 23: Reason For Fighting

Jesse was waiting since the time to pass to call Pauline. These few hours seems to him a  millennium. He couldn't think anything else exept Pauline and the reasom for fighting.

For one more time Jesse had lost any idea for Jennifer. He couldn't believe what she had done. But his love for Jennifer was gone for the first time he saw Pauline in Ava's birthday party.

While Jesse was thinking all these Pauline was in her house, in her room. She couldn't believe what she had done this morning in school. It was the first time she had a fight with someone. It was the first time she punch someone. It was the first time she fought for her boyfriend.

Pauline's mobile phone rung. It was Jesse. "Hello Pauline!" "Hello Jesse! How are you?" "I'm fine. You?" "Is hurting a little but i'll survive!" "Do you have trainning today?" "No, not even tommorow and for the next week!" "That long?" "Yeah, i do what the doctor said! And dodn't forget that in two weeks is the Christmass celebration and we have to get ready!" "Yes, i have already forget that!" "You will come wouldn't you?" "of course and i come!" "Good!" "I want to see you!" "Now?" "Yeah ,now and i can't wait till Monday at school!" "Fine. Do you remeber where me house is?" "Yes!" "A few blocks away there is a park. Do you want to meet there in an hour?" "Yes!" "Good! If my parents don't let me i'll call you. If they let me see you there!" "Okay. I'll wait for you!Bye!" "I love you!" "I love you too honey!" she said and hung up the phone.

She got up and leave her room. She went downstairs and found her mother on the living room reading a book. "Mum can i talk to you?" Katerina closed the book and answered "Sure Pauline tell me!" "Well, Jesse just called me and he wants to see me! Can i go?" "When and where?" "In an houre in the park near to our house!" "Alright go but don't be late!" "Okay, i will not be late. Thank you!" "You'we welcome! Now go cause i'm in a very interesting point!" "Ok, i gonna have a shower!" Pauline answered and desapeared on the staircase.

Jesse hung up his phone and he went to the living room too. Here he found his mother watching TV. "Mum i'm going out!" "Where?" "Red Bank!" "With who?" "I called Pauline!" "Yeah, i know your gather told me!" "And there is something else!" "What is it?" "I need money!" "Again? I gave you on Wednesday what did you bought?" "I bought a T-shirt, a perfume and something for school!" "Fine! How much do you want?" "With 30$ i'm okay!" "30$ that much?" "Yeah, mum that much. I'll put some gas, buy some flowers and i want to have some xtra money!" "Fine! There are some in the kitchen!" "Thanks mum!" he answered and gave her a kiss to her cheek. He went to the kitchen and took the money. Then he went upstairs and had a shower and left his house.

After putting some gas to his car he stoped to the first flower shop he found on his way. He parked his car and walked in. He didn't know what kind of flowers he wanted to buy. Fist he thought toulips but he didn't like them. Then roses but is not their first date. Finaly he decated to buy daisies. He payed the flowers and get in to his car again. The park that they will meet was 20 minutes away. He should hurry brcause he didn't want to wait him.

Fortunately he arrived first in the park. He sut down on a bench and he was starring at the lake waiting for Pauline. Three minutes later Pauline appeared and she saw Jesse sitting on their favourite bench looking down to his shoes when he saw Pauline's All-Star. He lift his head and then he got up. "Am i late?" Pauline asked "No, you're not." he started "i bought you these!" he finished and gave her the boucket with the flowers. "Thank you very much but it wasn't necessary!" she answered and took the boucket in her hands. "If i dodn't bought you flowers who will?" "Okay!" "Let's sit!" Jesse suggested and Pauline agreed. "You eye is really good now!" "Haha! I've put some make-up!" "Oh! Your nose?" "I didn't put make-up in my nose! Is fine is hurts a little but it will be alright!" "It doesn't hurt a lot?" "No, don't worry!" "Okay, if you say so! Can i ask you something?" "Whatever you want!" "How the fight begun?" "With Jennifer?" "Yeah!" "Well, i was looking for Ava and i found her squashed by Jennifer. But i don't know what happend before!" "And then?" "And then she told me to stay away from you with an order look. Then i pissed off and then you know what happened!" "I can't believe her. Don't tell me that she hit you first!" "Yes!" "I can't believe this girl!" "Do you know her?" "Unfortunately, i do. She was my ex-girlfriend!" "Your ex-girlfriend was Jennifer One, 'Fun Fice's leader?" "Yes!" "And why did you broke up with her?" "Because she change her behaviour and becaise of you!" he answered and kissed her gently. "For me? She was right, anyway!" "She was right about what?" "Because she said to me that you broke up with her to be with me!" "the truth is that is the best choise i've ever had!" he said and kissed her again. "So i did good to fight with her!" "So you fight for me?" "Yeah, the first time that i have a fight for a boy!" "And i'm happy to be the first!" Jesse answered with a proud smile on his lips. "Me too!" was Pauline's answer.


For the next seconds none spoke when Jesse asked Pauline "Do you want to have a walk?" "Sure!" she answered and both got up. They start walking nect to the lake hand-in-hand. "How your parents take it?" "Pretty good. My sister freak out. She knew that i was able for everything but not fo this!" "How old is she?" "13. Do you have any sibblings?" Jesse froze he knew if he tell her the truth and he doesn't want to learn it now. "No, i don't have any sibblings!" "Lucky you!" "It couldn't be that bad!" "You have no idea!" "I'm trying!" "What's your parents names? My dad is Kostas and my mum is Katerina!" One more time Jesse froze he have to find something and quickly! "Francis and Dorothea!" "Nice names!" "You too!"

They continue walking hand-in-hand for a long time next to the lake.Is already dark and the moon was in the dark sky for a long time.While they were walking Jesse saw a hod-dog stant and turned to ask Pauline."Have you even eat american hod-dog?" "No, i didn't have the chance!" "Today might be your lucky day! Look!" Jesse said and pointing with his hand the stand. "Come on let's go!" he continue "I dodn't have money with me!" "Don't worry my treat!" "Alright then. Let's go!" she answered.

Five minutes later Pauline and Jesse were sitting on the only table that the hod-dog stant has. They ordered a hod-dog and a Coke. After taking their hod-dogs they sit and start eatting. Pauline ate her first bite and the cause from the hod-dog rolled to her mouth. Jesse was sitting on the other side of the table and was starring at her. She was naive and sweet in the same time. Pauline didn't notised and she asked Jesse "What are looking at me like that?" Jesse took a napkin and wiped her mouth. "You got dirty!" he answered and Pauline laughed. "I didn't knew it!" "That's why i'm here, honey!"

They finished their hod-dogs and took their way back. They were waliking again hand-in-hand when Jesse's mobile phone rung, it was his mother. "Jesse where are you?" "In the park in Red Bank. You?" "I'm home and you must come!" "But why?" "Because Jake and Romeo want to play with you and Stephanie is out. Your father working in the studio and i'm in a desparate situation!" "Fine! In 30 minutes i'll be there!" he answered and hung up the phone.

"Is everything ok?" Pauline asked "No, actually i have to go because my dad is leaving tommorow for a congress of pediatric in LA and he'll be gone for a week!" "I understand!" "You don't mind?" "I don't mind at all. He is your father after all. And i see you on Monday at school!" "Yeah, that's right. Come on i'll take you home!" "Let's go!" Pauline  answered and went to Jesse's car.

Paulinje's house wasn't far away from the park almost 5 minutes with the car. Jesse turned to Pauline's house road and stoped outside of the house. "Here we go!" "Thank you again for bringing me home!" "Don't say that again!" "I'll try!" she answered "Goodnight!' she continue and opened the door to leave. "You forget something!" Jesse said looking at her with his two blue passionate eyes. Pauline knew what Jesse mean and she stooped and kissed him. When they broke apart Pauline was about to leave again when Jesse said "You forget something again!" he said looking with look. "Fine! One more because you were a good boy!" she answered and kissed him passionately. "Good night Jesse!" she said when she got out from the car and closed the door behind her. "Good night Pauline. I love you!" "I love you too!" Pauline answered and watch him driving away.

She walked in the house and she found in the living the rest of her family watching a movie. When they hear the sound of the door they turned and saw Pauline halding a boucket of daisies. "A! What a nice flowers!" Katerina said excited. "Jesse bought them?" Zeta asked sure about the answer "Yes!" Pauline answered. "i was sure abou t that!" Zeta answered and turned to see the rest of the movie "I going to put them in a vase and then i'm going to bed. I'm very tired!" Pauline said and did act what she said. When she lied down on her bed she was thinkg Jesse. His face was familiar to her. It was like she saw him again but she didn't remember where.

Chapter 22: Fighting For Love

Sunday noon. Ava just woke up and went downstairs to eat her breakfast. When she sut down her phone rung. It was Jesse. "Morning Jesse i was in your dreams?" "Morning Ava. No, you wasn't in my dreams!" "So, why you call me?" "I call you to tell that i'm with Pauline!" "Wow, youguys are very fast!" "Yes we are. And you were right yesterday!" "You see. You should listen to Ava!" "I want to thank you for that!" "It's ok Jesse. I just want you to be happy." "Yeah, i'm very happy because of you!" "Come on you make me blush! And you broke up with Jennifer?" "Yeah, on Friday." "And how does she take it?" "Better that i thought!" "She didn't start screaming?" "No, she took it so calmy and she pusrised me happily!" "Yeah, me too!" "Enough with Jennifer!" "Fine. So, i'm the first?" "Yes, youre the first! The rest will know it in a few days!" "You mean your parents?" "And Stephanie. She helped me a lot with Jennifer and i want to do the same with Pauline!" "That's right!" "So, i'm leaving you now. Mum is calling!" "Okay see you tomorow at school!" Ava said and hung up the phone.

She continue eatting her cereal. then Richie joined her in the kitchen. "Morning Princess!" he said and gave her a kiss to her cheek. "Morning daddy!" "Who was on the phone?" "Jesse!" "Jesse? And what he wanted?" "He called me to tell that he is with Pauline!" "This is really good! I think that they are a great couple!" "So i do i. You should see him how he was looking at her!" "I saw him. Pauline did the same!" "That's true!" "What's wrong Princess? You're not happy for your friends?" "Of course and i'm happy. But is that i told you!" "That he is Jon's son?" "Yeah, and i'm afraid that he didn't tell her!" "I'm sure Jesse will tell her. Why are you like that?" "Beacause if she found it out by herself thing will be worse!" "You're right about that. You have to warn him and then let him choose!" "I'm gonna do this!" Ava said and her phone rung again. This time was Pauline. "Good morning Ava!" "Good morning Pauline!" "Did i woke you up?" "No, i was up one hour ago." "Good. I called to tell that i'm in relationship with Jesse!" "Really? When you met him. When you love him and when you're with him. I can't follow you guys!" "But do the same with Alex!" "We're not talking about ME we're talking about YOU!" "That's right! Now listen how it goes. I was in the locker rooms and then he came in. He also said that he likes me more thatn the game and then..." "And then?" "And then he kissed me!" "What? And how did you felt?" "I felt like one million fireworks exploding inside me!" "And you didn't blow out?" "Ava i'm not joking. i'm talking really serious. I've never felt like this in my life!" "I know that feeling!" "At least i have someone who understand me!" "That's me!" "You're smart!" "Why do you hany any doupts?" "Yeah, for the first time i saw you!" "Hahaha! Smartass!"

The next days passed quick and normaly. Pauline and Jesse watch each other everyday at school. They tried not to be in public because Pauline will understand that he is Jon Bon Jovi's son. The truth is that Jesse every time he saw her wanted to tell her. But when he saw her he changed hes mind. "I'll tell her tommorow! Is better to hear it from me than someone else. He is my father and i can't hide it forever!"

It was the last Friday when Jesse told his goodbye to Jennifer. She may react calmy when he told her but inside her was boilling in hot water. It was the first time that someone leave her for someone else. Jennifer will not allow that.

She was Jennifer One, leader of 'Fub Five'. Her father was shipowner and the richest father in school. 'Fub Five' was a team from the reachest and prettiest girls in school. They were the queens. They can destroy your life or take you to Heaven. Oneone wants to be in truble with them. Oneone want to be in their back list. Because sooner or later they will get revenge.

Jennifer had put a target to find out for who Jesse left her. She told to some kids to watche him whenever he was going. The only that they know was that she is to A4' class. Then Jennifer ask for them to give her a picture with all the girls of the class. When she take this list in her hands and looked at the girls she concluded that Jesse's new girlfriend is Ava Sambora.

It was break and Ava was taking the books for the next hour from her locker in the hallway. After taking her books she turned and saw 5 girls coming to her side. The girls stopped 2 metters away from her and Jennifer approached  Ava. "Do you know Jesse?" Ava knew that Jennifer was Jesse's ex-girlfriend but she didn't know why she wanted her. "Yeah, i know him!" "I've found you. Stay away from him!" "I don't know what are you talking about!" "You know exactly what i'm talking about!" Jennifer said and with her right hand pushed Ava and hit the lockrs bihind her.

Pauline was looking for Ava and she found her squashed by a girl. She start running to her side. She pulled the people away and went to the front line. "Listen i'll say that only once. Stay away from Jesse!" "I'm not his girlfriend!" "Don't try to confuse me. You're the prettiest girl in the class."

This moment Pauline took a step and said "Leave Ava alone. I'm Jesse's girlfriend!" Jennifer turned to see and left Ava go. Alex was just arrived and Ava went straight to his arms. Jennifer get closser to Pauline "You are Jesse's girlfriend?" "Yes, i am!" "You are joking. He left ME to be with YOU?" "Yeah, so it seems!" "Listen girl stay away from him or you have to deal with me!" she said and get more closser to Pauline. "I'm not taking orders form anyone!" "It's time to begin!" "And from who?" "You don't know me?" "Why i should know you?" "I'm Jennifer One! And i'm telling you to stay ways from him or you deal with me!" "And now you really scared me!" "You should be!" "Why?" "Because of this!" she answered and she punched her on her eye. Pauline went a few steps back. Jennifer get closser and punched her again in the nose and start bleeding and Pauline fell to the fool.

Ava was in Alex's arms and she screamed "PAULIIINEE!" Pauline was still on the floor and tunred to face Ava and smiled at her. Jennifer has turned her back. Pauline got up silent and went to touch her shoulder and said "You forget something!" Pauline said and with all of the power she puched her face. The two girls start hitting each other.

While Pauline and Jennifer were fighting around them was almost all the school. In the croud was Jesse who was tring like maniac to see who was fighting. When he was in the firls line he saw Pauline on the floor and Jennifer above her. He could believe in his own eyes. The first thing he tought was to help Pauline. He grabbed Jennifer and pulled away from Pauline. He get to his knees and looked at her. Form her nose blood was running and her left eye was black. he gave her his hand and lift her off the floor.

This time Mr Morrison, Biology's teacher, and Mrs Monsean, EPS's teacher, came. They saw Pauline next to Jesse and Jennifer behind them. "One, Timson in principal's office now!" Mr Morrison said. "Pauline i'll come with you!" Ava said and follow them "Sambora you were in the fight too?" Mrs Monsean asked "Yes!"  "The three of you to the office now!"

The three girls went to Mr Backett's office. There they gave them ice and whatelse they need. Also Mr Backett called their parents.

First Richie arrived. He waled to principals affice and saw sitting on the couch Ava and next to her was Pauline with ice on her eye. Her head was high she has paper on her nose. "What happend?" Richie asked "Please Mr Sambora sit down. We'll wait and the other parents!" Mr Backett said camly. A few mninutes later Kostas arrived to the office. He wlked in and saw the same thing as Richie."Pauline? Are you okay?" he asked very suprised. Pauline turned her head and faced him "Yeah, dad. i'm alright!" "Who is responcible for that?" "Calm down Mr Timson!" the principal said. "Dad calm down!" Pauline said and he sut next to Richie. "So, why are we here?" Richie asked. "You daughters have a fight!" "A fight?" Richie asked more suprised than ever and looked at Ava. "I didn't do anything she attacked me!" Jennifer said pointing Ava. "Don't try to cover yourself Jennifer!" Ava said aggresive. "Can someone teel us what is going on, please?" Kostas asked. "I'll tell you dad what happened." Pauline answered and faced him. "I was looking for Ava and i found her squashed in the lockers by Jennifer. Jennifer was telling her to do something that Ava wasn't responsible for. I was. It's my fault. I should have keep myself calm. I'm sorry!" "Who punched first?" Mr Backett asked. "Jennifer!" Ava answered. "Is that true Jennifer?" he asked again. "Yes, Mr Backett is true. I punched her first!" "I have to punish you! You're punishmented for the next week!" "Yes, Mr Backett." "Now, you're free. And i don't want to see something like this again!" Mr Backeet said. All of them stand up and left Mr Backett's office. Before Jennifer go away she said to Pauline "I'm not done with you yet!" and left.

The two fathers were walking with their daughters when Pauline stopped and said to her father. "Dad, i'm so sorry about that. I should keep my temper low but she already pissed me off. I should have control myself better. I'm sorry!" "Pauline, you don't have to be sorry. You took the responsibility for your actions! And she hit you first. I'm proud of you!" "But dad i engaged in fracas." "Yes, i know but you didn't start it!" Yeah, but!" "You defent yourself!" Kostas said and hugged her daughter. When the broke apart she turned to Ava and said "Does she hurt you?" "No!" she begun. "Pauline thank you!" she finished and hugged her tight. "I didn't to anything! Plus i'm Jesse's girlfriend not you!" Pauline answered "Who is Jesse?" Kostas asked "My boyfriend!" "I didn't knew it. Your mum know it?" "Yeah!" "Good then!" Then they get in their cars and went home.

Kostas and Pauline arrived at home. On the couch were sitting Katerina and Zeta. When they walked in zeta said "Where have you been? We're waiting for you!" Pauline closed the door and turned to face them. "Oh my God! Pauline what happened to you?" "I had a fught. Nothing special!" "Nothing special is that? your eye is black and your nose has the douple size!" "Mum i'm fine!" "Come to tell me what happened!" Katerina said and sut on the couch with Pauline. "Now tell me!" "I was looking for Ava and i found her squashed in the lockers by a girl. This girl was Jesse's ex and she thought that Ava is his girlfriend. Then i told her that i'm. She start telling me to leave him alone but i don't want to. And then she punched me twice and i puncher too but Jesse and two other teachers broke us apart!" "All this happened for Jesse?" "Yeah, because she didn't understand that they broke up!" "What's her name?" "Jennifer One!" "Her father in George One?" "I don't know. Who is he?" "Is a shipowner!" "A! I don'r know and i don't care!" "Anyway are you hungry?" "Yeah! Mum i'm sorry is my fault. I lost the control. I promise that this will never happend again. And if you punished me i'll accept it!" "No, Pauline i will not punish you because you recognize your mistake. But promise me that you will never fight with someone!" "Yes, mum i promise!" she said and hugged her mother. "Now, let's go to eat!" Katerina said and all went to the kitchen.

When the girls went to the principal's office he went back to his classroom. The only thing he was thinking it was Pauline and the reason for fighting. In his mind were millions reason but one was the worse. If Pauline find out who he was. He doesn't even think about.

He went back home. He went straight to thge kitchen to dring a glass of water. Then he sut down in the chair of the kitchen table with his head between his hands. He sut there for 5 minutes when Jon joined him. "Everything alright Jess?" Jesse lift his head to face him. Pauline and Jennifer had a fight!" "Oh no! Why?" "I don't know when i arrived there i saw Pauline on the floor and above her was Jennifer." "Does she hurt?" "Yeah, her eye and nose!" "And what you did?" "At the beggining i couldn't believe it and then i went to Pauline. And then she went to the principal's office and i went to my classroom." "And you don't no the reason?" "No, but i'll find it out soon! I'll call her. But i'll leave her to get some rest and i'll call her the afternoon!" "Very nice. Did you tell her?" "No, but i'll tell her i promise that to you!" "And what is she already know it! She's not stupid and she's a fan!" "I know and i don't want to think about it!" "Ok, you'll see soon!" "Yeah, i'll see soon!"

Chapter 21: Love Is A Game

Saturday noon in Timson's house. Everything was ready to welcome Ava and Richie for lunch. "Now, listen to me carefully because i'll say that only once!" Pauline said and looked at her family in the opposite couch. "Do they have instructions for use?" Zeta joked "Very funny Zeta! Don't say anything like that when they come!" "Ok, i'll try!" "Good! Don't say anything about his dad, his marriege and don't put in the table wine or anything else that has alcohol!" "Anything else?" "A! He doesn't smoke!" "Really?" Katerina asked really suprised "Yeah, but we are not gonna talk about that now!" "That's all?" Zeta asked "Yeah, that's all. They aren't too much!" "At the beggining i thought that you'll give us a list with 15 pages!" Katerina joked. "No, mum!" The bell rung. "I'm going and be polite! Zeta i'm talking about you!" Pauline said and got up from the couch and went to answer the door.

She took a deep breath and opened. "Ava! Richie! Welcome. Come in!" "Hey Pauline!" Ava said while she walked in following by Richie. They got up from the couches first Kostas, second Katerina and last Zeta. "Here is my dad Kostas, mu mum Katerina and my little sister Zeta!" Pauline said as the rest shake their hands. "Nice too meet you. I'm Richie and here is my daughter Ava!" "It's nice to meet you too, Richie and Ava we'he heard so much about you!" Katerina said and all looked at Pauline's direction who was blushed. "We bring you this!" Richie said and gave to Katerina the bag that he was carring "Don't worry i didn't cook it!" Richie joked to break the ice. "Thank you very much!" Katerina sked and took thje bag and went to the kitchen. "Do you want to sit in the dining room?" Kostas asked "Yeah, why not!" richie answered and all went to the dining room. Richie sut next to Kostas and next to him Katerina will sit. At the other side of the table the kids took their positions. Katerina walked to the dining room and asked "Do you want to bring the food?" "YEAH!" was the answer of all. "I'm coming to help you!" Pauline said and left the table.

Katerina and Pauline bring the food and sut and start eatting "So Richie what your girlfriend do?" Pauline asked while her parents and sister rolled their eyes and waiting Richie's answer "They are doing great and they are waiting me home. Right there i left them!" "Pauline what kind of question is that?" Katerina asked with an agressive voise. "Katerina is ok Pauline means my guitars!" "Oh! And many do you have?" "138!" "Whoah! That much?" Zeta said suprised "Yeah!" "So, girls what song are you gonna sing?" Kostas asked "Me and Pauline we'll sing together I'll Be There For You. And the maybe Bed Of Roses or In These Arms." Ava said "I prefere Bed Of Roses. Let's leave the talkbox song from June!" Pauline answered and Richie rolled his eyes "Wow. Very few know that In These Arms has talkbox." "It can be understand easily. I've heard this song more that 100 thousands times!" "You suprise me!" Richie answered and pualine laughed. "I agree with you Pauline. Let's leave the talkbox songs for the end. But we have one more song!" Ava said "All About Loving You?" "Thank You For Loving me?" "These Open Arms?" "You Had Me From Hello?" The girls keep on saying more and more songs and the rest were looking like losts even Richie "What Do You Got?" "I like that! Espacially the solo!" Pauline answered and looked at Richie. "A! Pauline i forget to tell you that. We have to wear features clothes! Mr Borton said that when you were on bathroom." "What? Please don't tell me that we have to do the tattoos too! Because if we must i have a lot of job!" "No! What i'll should wear?" "The red jacket!" "I was thinking that too! You?" "I don't know maybe the 'Blessed'. I don't know yet!" "No, you'll wear it! And don't forget the hat!" "No, how could i forget it. Is ready!" "Ready?" "Yeah! I jave already make it!" "I don't want to miss this!"

All were finished their lunch and Pauline with ava went to Pauline's room. They walked in and ava was looking around "You really like purple huh?" "Yeah, wait to see the bathroom!" Pauline started "Now, leave the room and tell me about yesterday!" "We're together!" "Really? Bravo Ava! That's why you were saying all the ballads!" "You got me!" "Now i'm listening!" "Well, we wen to see a movie. then we went a walk in the park. We sut down on a bench and he asked me if i want to be with him. And i said yes!" "Do you kissed?" "Yeah!" "At least he kissed good?" "Perfect!" "I'm so happy for you and Alex!" "Thank you!  How about you?" "Me what?" "Do you want to be with Jesse?" "Very much. But we don't know if he likes me!" " Right!" "Do you think that he'll come?" "Yes. You invited him!" "I know that. But he wouldn't come?" "He'll come! Listen to me Pauline. I know him." "Fine!" "Let;s do this project!" "I hate that teacher!" "You not alone, Pauline!" Ava answered and both laughed.

Ava and Pauline finished the History project quickly. There weren't many questions. They finished it quickly and start talking about Ava's and Alex's date. But the time was passed and it was time from Pauline to get ready to go to the game. "Pauline i think is time to get ready!" Ava said. Pauline looked the time in her phone and answered. "Yeah and i'm late!" she said na d got up from the chair and went to the closet. She opened the door and went in. "OH MY GOD!" Ava yelled. Pauline scared and get out "What happend?" "where the hell you find this?" Ava asked and pointing the Richie's poster which took all the door from up to down. "A! You did this for the poster? I bring it from Greece. And that was my mum reaction and she first saw it!" "Whoah! You really like them!" "I have Tico's on the other door!" "Ok, now you inpresed me!" Ava said suprised and Pauline laughed. Then she went to wear her uniform. It was a black shorts. The blouse was red. And with yellow letters were the name of the team and her mumber. The 9.

Ava with Pauline went downstairs and found on the living room sitting on the couches Katerina, Kostas and Richie. Katerina when  saw them she said "Ready girls?" "Yeah! Let's go we're late. And where is Zeta?" "In her room. I'm going to tell her that we're leaving." Katerina said and went upstairs. "So Pauline in which position do you play?" Richie asked "I'm a setter!" "And how many years you've been playing volley?" "This year in my  eighth!" "Wow, these are lots of years! I'm looking forward to seeing you play!" "Wait a minute. You'll come to the game too?" "Yeah. you don't want?" "Of course and i want you to come. I just didn't expect it! That's all!" Pauline answered while Katerina and Zeta came. "Let's go!" Kostas said and all went to the court.

They arrived at the court in time. Pauline went with team and start warming up. Kostas, Katerina, Zeta, Ava and Richie went and sit on the grandstands. They decided to sit in the middle to match all the court and they don't have to change seats at every set.

After the 30 minutes warming up the game started. Pauline wasn't in the basic team but she didn't care. Servis has the other team. Pauline's team did not take long to take the lead of the game. The opponet team wasn't so strong as their coach said before the game starts. The first set finished me score 25-15 and everyone was happy.

The second set started 3 minutes later. Jesse wasn't there yet. Pauline was always looking at the door but nothing. She was almost sure that he wouldn't come. With the start of the second set Pauline's team start to loosing the deference. In 10 minutes of playing the score was 2-10. The coach called time-out to talk to his players. After the time-out the took some points but the score changed again in 8-18. "Pauline get in!" the coach said and Pauline get up from the bench. she took the sing with the player's number that is getting out and stand next to the fillet. Just opposite of her were her family, Ava and Richie. Before getting in the court she looked one more time the entrance kai she saw him walking in. With a releaf sigh she told to herself  "Let's saw them what i can do!" and went to her posotion. 5 minutes later it was her turn to serve. She went to the final line and looked at Jesse and next to him was Ava. Both were giving to her a thumbs up. She served. Ace. Everyone in the court start screaming, it was their first ace at the second set. Pauline served again, Ace. This continued for 7  more times. the score was 17-18. They have reduced the difference in 1 point. After teamwork they won and the second set with 25-22.

The third set didn't last long. It finished with score 25-17. Final score 3-0. The second win in raw. They were in the first place with 6 points.

When the game was finished the girs went to the locker rooms to have a shower.

All the girls like Pauline. She calm when she must be, she has great sense of humour kai she was a great player. The other girls finished their shower quickly and left almost all together. Outside of the court Jesse and Ava were talking. "Do you enjoy the game?" Ava asked him "Yeah, very much. I think i start like volley! Did you saw her looking at me?" "Yes!" "Didn't just looking. She was smiling at me." "And you did the same! All the time you were looking at her!" "Yeah and is this a bag thing?" "Of course not. Are you gonna talk to her?" "Now?" "Yes, now! 10 girls left. That means in the locker rooms are Pauline and one more!" Ava said looking at the door. "None! Go, she is alone. The last girls just left!" Ava continued.

Jesse walked in the court and went to find the locker rooms. He turned on the hallway and he found her in the door on his right. She was sitting on the bench and brusing her wet dark drown hair. She lifted her head and she saw him standing ot the door with his hands at his pockets. "Jesse what are you doing her? Are you lost?" "No, i'm not lost. I just wanted to see you!" he said and moved to her side. Pauline didn't answered. "Did you like the game?" she asked him and tried to change the subject. "Yeah, but i like you more!" he said and pulled her closer. They were face to face. With his right hand pulled away her hair of her face. He pulled her closer and he put his lips to hers so calm and kissed her gently. This time everything sropped. The Earth stoped turning round. The birds stoped flying. It was just the two of them. Both want to stay there till the end of time. When the broke apart Jesse took a step back. "I'm sorry. I didn't know what i was doing!" "Don't be sorry. If didn't want to kiss me i didn't let you do it!" "That means you wanted?" "Yes!" "And that means you like me? Because i like you!" "No, i don't like you!" she started and could feel Jesse's sadness when she finished the sentence. "I think i... i love you!" "I think that too!" he answered and pulled her colse again. He put his lips on hers. This time with more passion. When theu broke apart he asked "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" "Only if you be my boyfriend!" she answered with a smile.

Then they change phone numbers. They promised to talk on Monday at school. They kissed one more time. And left from diferent doors.

Pauline get out and found them all together talking. "Hello guys!" she said and her mum hugged her "Pauline you kicked their butts!" "Thank you mum!" "Congratulations!" her dad said and they highed five. Then she turned to Richie who was standing next to them. "Come here 'Queen Of The Court'!" he said and hugged her. And now she was in Richie's arms. Completely different from Jon's. "You're taller that i thought!" she said and he laughed. "And me nickname is 'Fast Gun', King!" "Fine 'Fast Gun'!"

Then she hugged Ava and whispered to her ear "I'll call you tommorow!" Ava know what she'll tell her and she just answered with a smile.

Chapter 20: Meatballs On The T-shirt

Monday morning at school. Jesse has forget to tell Pauline that they are going to the same school. He didn'e see her today. She was going at A grade and he was going at C grade. Their classrooms where in the other side of the biulding. He was praying to see her at lunch.

The bell for lunch rung. Jesse went to the queue to buy his food. he has already took his plate when he hear someone calling his name. Behind him was Pauline. She didn't know that in front of her was Jesse. Pauline had took her plate too.

Jesse turned abruptly to see who was calling his name. His plate with her plate were all over Pauline's t-shirt. Both were looking to each other for some seconds. "Pauline!" "Jesse!" "I'm so sorry! I just turned so abruptly. I'm so sorry!" "It's ok. Is just happend." "Let's go to the bathroom to clean you t-shirt!" "Is fine!" "Are kidding me? You t-shirt form white turned to red with meatballs!"Pauline laughed. "Fine, let's go!"

Both left the restaurant and went to the ladies bathroom. Jesse didn't care that he was in the ladie bathroom. He would go anywhere just to be with her! They walked in and Pauline went straight to the faucets. "Is doesn't go! What they put in this sauce?" "You need paper!" Jesse said and went to the first toilet and took the paper. "Here!" he said and gave to her the paper "Thank you!" Pauline rained the paper and start rubbing her t-shirt. But she didn't make any diference. Unlikely she make is worse. After one minute or so of rubbing she stoped. "I'm giving up! I'm rubbing all the time and it doesn't go away!" "It go away to the washing machine!" "Yeah, you're right!"  "Come on give it to me!" "Give you what?" "Your t-shirt! I fouled it and i will clean it!" "No, Jesse is not necessary!" "Yes, it is! If you go out in public with that all will fun of you. And i don't want to make fun of you because of my mistake!" "Fine. But what i'll wear?" "I've already thought about that!" he said and pulled off his blue shirt. He also was wearing an onther t-shirt and he didn't have any problem. "Thanks! I'm gonna change!" "I'll be waiting!" Pauline took Jesse's shirt and went to the toilet to change clothes. A minute later she got out. Jesse heard the noise of the door and turned to face her. He wasn't sure if he could say anything. "Jesse? Are you ok? Am i so bad?" "No, you look beautiful!" "Thank you. You know i prefere you with that t-shirt!" "Thanks! The shirt also matches with your jeans!" "Yeah! I didn't notise!" "You look good on shirts!" "Thak you. I really like them!" "I'll bring you tommorow the t-shirt!" "And i the shirt!" "Nice!" he stoped "Are you free on Saturday?" "No, i have a game at 18.00 in the court in Red Bank. If you didn't have anything else to do you would come!" "Ok!" "I'll wait!" "I'll be there!" The bell rung. "The bell!" Pauline said sadly "I hate that sound!" "Me too! So, see you tommorow then!" "Yeah, see you tommorow! Have a nice lesson!" "You too!"

Pauline arrived at her classroom there ava was waiting for her with her back turned. "Ava!" "Pauline where have you been i was look..." she said but turned to face her and she was that she was wearing other clothes. "Why are you wearinga shirt? Where is your t-shirt? Whose is this shirt?" "I'm wearing  a t-shirt because mine is bedraggled. My t-shirt is in Jesse and the shirt is his!" "How does this happened?" "I was in the queue kai had took my food. In front tof my was Jesse but i didb't know that he was in front of me. And suddenly he turned and all our plates were on my t-shirt!" "And he is shirtless?" "No! He was wearing a another t-shirt!" "Oh!" "He is getleman. He took my t-shirt and will bring it tommorow clean. I think i love him more and more!" "Yeah?" "Yeah, i invited him the game on Saturday. Would you come?" "Yeah, of course and i will. What time is it?" "The game starts at 18.00 but i'll be there one hour ago!" "Nice. Where do play?" "In our court!" "Cool!" "I have an idea! Why don't you come to my place to eat lunch, do the project in History and then go tot the game together?" "When you are in love do you always have good ideas?" "I always heve great ideas!" "Really? Anyway, i don't have any problem with that!" "Awesome! I'll have support in the court!" "To let you know i scream in the games!" "I do that too!" "Oh! Why is she here?" "I'm going to my seat!" Pauline said and went to sit on her seat and the lesson start.

Chapter 19: I'm In Love

Sunday morning at the Bongiovi house. Today Tico has his birthday and he has invited them all to his house for lunch. In the kitchen Jake and Romeo were eatting their breakfast. Stephanie was still sleeping. Dorothea was sleep first of all and she was doing some housework with Rosa, their house keeper. Jon was just waken up and went to kitchen. Here he found Jake and Romeo eatting their cereal and Jesse holding with his right hand a spoon and making circles. The other hand was haloding his head kai he was looking outside form the window with the look of the lost. "Morning kids!" he said when he walked in the kitchen. "Morning daddy!" Romeo and Jeke said with one voise. "Jesse good morning!" Jon said and took a mug from the pantry but Jesse didn't answer to him. "Jesse?" No responce. "Jesse James Louis Bongiovi!" he yelled and hit his hand on the table. "Dad you scared me!" Jesse said scared "I called you 3 times but you didn't answer!" he explained "I'm sorry dad it would never happen again!"  "You were thinking something?" "Yeah!" "I know Jennifer!" "Who is Jennifer?" Jesse asked purely abstract "Your girlfriend?" "Oh yeah! My girlfirend! You're right!" "She must wore very nice clothes yesterday on the party in order to be like this today!" Jon said. Dorothea who was watching all the chat between her hasband and her older son walked in and said "Jake. Romeo go to see what you'll wear in Uncle Tico's!" "Mommy will Hector be there too?" Romeo asked "Yes, he'll be!" "Nice! Let's go Jake!" he said and both went upstairs. Dorothea sut next to Jon and on the other side of the table was Jesse. "You didn't answer!" "In which of the 2 parties?" "What do you mean in which party?" Dorothea asked "I mean mum in the party i went or in the party Jennifer went?" "But in one party you will go wouldn't you?" "Mum i went in Ava's party and i don't know where she went!" "You fight?" "Yes. A lot and i think it's final!" "Son, if you fight one time that doesn't mean that you must break up!" Dorothea said "Is not one time are 6 since the school started. I don't like now. I want the girl i loved back!" "Jesse before do anything think about it!" Jon said "Yeah dad i'll think about it, i promise!" "This is what you were thinking?" "No! Something else!" "Tell us." "Well, yesterday i met a girl. And i...i think i like her!" Jesse said and faced them in their eyes "You've seen her only once. You can't be in love with her so soon!" Jon said calmy "Yes, i know that but i want to see her again!" " Sweetheard, i know how you feel. But you must clarify the situation with Jennifer!" Dorothea said sweet "Yes mum this is what i had to do! Thank you for the advise! I'm going up!" "Ok, go!" "A! Ava would be there too right?" "Of course. Gabrielle and Colton too!" Jon answered "Nice!" Jesse said and went to his room. In the kitchen left Dorothea and Jon. "Our son is in love, Jon!" Dorothea said and sighed. "I can see that! I hope this girl would be better than Jennifer!" "You didn't like her, huh?" "To be honest no! You remeber how happy he was and i didn't want to say to him that i don't like her!" "It's better that you didn't say anything! Come on now let's get ready!" Dorothea said and got up from the chair. "Yes, Captain!" "Honey, you're the Captain!" she said and Jon laughed.

In the same in Timson house everyone was up and were in the kitchen. Pauline was in the same situation as Jesse. "Pauline give me the jam!" Zeta said, no responce. "Pauline?" she asked again, no repsonce "Bon Jovi!" again no repsonce and Zeta start to worry. "I must do something more drastic!" she said and with all the power that she has she pushed Pauline from the chair and she fell on the floor. "Zeta are you ok? You almost kill me!" "I called you but you didn't answer. What you were thinking?" "Nothing!" "Pauline come on you're talking to me!" "Fine, i'll tell you. Yesterday in the game i wanted to girls to be with me. And most Amalia!" she lied. "Oh Pauline i'm sorry. I thought that in the party you saw a preatty boy!" "Why are you saying that?" "Because i said Bon Jovi and you didn't reacte!" "Really? I must miss the girls more that i think!"  "I guess so!" A few minutes later Pauline said "I'm done. I'm going to my room to study!" she said and left the kitchen. "She is going to study? My sister is sick!" Zeta said when Pauline was gone.

Pauline climed quickly to the second floor and went to her room. She didn't want to study. She wanted to call Ava and she did it. She took her phone and called "Hey Ava good morning. It's Pauline. I woke you up?" "Morning Pauline. No you didn't woke me up! Is everything ok?" Ava asked supriced "Yes and no!" "I don't understand!" "Look Ava i want you to be the first to know it!" "What happened?" "I'm in love!" "With Alex?" "No!" "Zack?" "No!" "Is he from the class?" "No!" "I can't guess. Tell me!" "I'm in love with....Jesse." "Jesse?" "Yeah! from the time that he left me in my house he is always in my mind. When i close my eyes i see his face!" When ava heard all this she lost her words. She didn't know what to say. "Good! I'm happy for you!" "Thank you. I wanted to tell you yetserday but he and Richie were there!" "Yeah, i understand!" "Are you alright?" "Yes, i'm fine!" "I want to thank you for being sick that day in the park!" "Which park?" "The park that you met Jesse and then you went in his dad's office!" "Oh! How i could i forget that!" Pauline laughed. "So, i had to go now. See you at school!" "Ok! Bye!" Bye!" they said and hung up the phone.

Ava when downstarirs in the kitchen. Here was Richie "Morning Princess! You sleep well!" "Good morning dad! Very well! You?" "Fine!" "Can i ask you something?" "Sure!" "Today in Uncle Tico's will be Jesse?" "Yes, why are you asking? Something wrong?" "No! Everything is just fine!" "Ava i know you! Something happed and you hide it for me! Tell me!" "The truth is that i want one advise of yours!" "What's about?" "Well, 5 minutes ago Pauline called and told me that she's in love!" "And is this bad?" "No, is not. But she's in love with Jesse!" "And Jesse didn't love her?" "I don't know yet. But this os not the problem. The problem is that Jesse is in relationship. And he lied to her!" "What kind of lie!" "He didn't tell her that he is Jon's son!" "Oh! And Pauline realised it?" "Thank God no! But someday she will!" "That's for sure!" "Dad help me i don't know what to do!" "First, don't say anything to Pauline. Second talk to Jesse. He'll tell you why he lied to her." "Thank you so much daddy!" she said and hugged her father "It's nothing, Princess. Now go to get ready. I don't us to be late!" "Ok, i'm going!"

One hour later all were at Tico's. Ava wanted to talk to Jesse but she couldn't do it when they were eating on the diving room. She was watching him. He has a smile form ear to ear. Even when he was eatting he was smiling. It was the firts time she saw him like that. She remeber the day that he made it with Jennifer and called het at 4 in the morning, she was in LA. And then he was happy but now is diferent.

When they finished their lunch Jesse and Colton went to the pool. The rest were in the living room and were talking about work. The two boys sut in the sunbeds next to the pool. "Come on slip it up!" "Tell you what?" "Are you kidding form the time you were here you didn't stopped smiling!" "It seems too much!" "From miles away!" "Ok, i'll tell you!" "You move on with Jennifer?" "What is wrong with you all with Jennifer. It has nothing to do with Jennifer!" "And what's about?" "I'm in love!" "With who?" "Her name is Pauline!" "Where did you met her?" "In Ava's party." "And you fell in love with her with one time that you saw her?" "This was what my dad said. Why do you think that is not hapening?" "No, but..." "There are not buts. I haven't see her since yesterday and i miss her!" "Jesse in is love! Hahaha." "Don't laugh idiot! Have you ever fell in love?" "Of couse and i have. Is the most bveautiful feeling in the world. I'm very happy for you!" "Thank bro!"

While Jesse and Colton were talking Ava was sitting in the living room. She was there a lot of time. She wanted to leave them and talk like boys. But she could't wait for ever. She got up and went to find them.

She found them in sunbed next to the pool ans went to talk to them "Colton they want you inside!" "Ok, i'm leaving!" Colton left and Ava sut in his seat. "Jesse i want to talk to you!" "I want to talk to you too. You tell me first!" "Fine! What the hell did you told to Pauline?" "What do you mean?" "What i mean is why did you lie to her!" "Ok, i admit it. I lie to her!" "I know that!" "How do you know that?" "She called me in the morning!" "And she told you?" "She told me how was the party!" "And?" "She likes it! But why did you lie to her?" "Because i think i like her, that's why. When i saw her walking in your house i lost my words. When you told me that she is a fan i thought that she wanted to be with me just because to see my dad. I thought that she was like all the other girls. But when you start talking i forget everything! She was looking at me with her eyes.Oh! These  eyes i think i can lost in these eyes! And when she laughed the whole world stop turning around. From the time i went her to her house i never stop thinking about her. I can't and i don't want to!" "Wow Jesse this is the first time i hear you talking like that! She already saw you dad twice!" "Really?" "Yeah. The calmiest fan ever!" "I can't wait to see her tommorow in school." "You didn't tell her that you're going to the same school?" "No, we have more inportant things to talk about!" "And with Jennifer?" "Enough with Jennifer today!" "What are you gonna do with her?" "I'll break up with her!" "Why?" "Because from the day thay she is the leader of 'Fub Five' she reacte completely diferent. She is not the jennifer i met and love! All this lasted to much!" "Are you sure?" "Absolutely. By the end of the week we'll break up!" "Did you thought it well?" "Very well and this is good for both of us!" "I hope not to regret it!" "Don't wotty Ava i will not!" "You do this for Pauline too?" "Pauline just help me to do this one time sooner!" Ok. I hope you did the right thing!" "Come on let's go inside. They were looking for us!" "Let's go!" they said and went inside to Tico's house.

The night Jesse lied down in his bed think that one day before he met het. He fall asleep with her picture on his mind. Pauline did  exactly the same.

Chapter 18: The Party

Monday 1st of October. In 3 days Ava has her 15th birthday! It was lunch time when Ava ask Pauline "On Saturday are you free?" "No, the league begins!" "Nice and what time do you play?" "21.00 at Perth Amboy." "That late?" "Yeah, is a little late. Do you have something on your mind?" "Yes, i have my birthday on Thursday and on Saturday i'm having a party!" "And you think that because i have a match i wouldn't come to your party?" "Yeah!" "Of course not! I'll be a little late but i'll be there. I promise!" "Ok, i'll be waiting!" "Good! And who you invite?" "You and some from the class!" "All the kids from the class?" "Not all. But most of them!" "And Alex?" "Yeah and Alex! Why i should not invite him? We are in the same team!" "Ava i know you like him!" "And how do you know it?" Ava said sarcastically. "First, from the way you look and talk to him. And second when you talk to him you lost your words!" "Damn you're good at this! And it seems so much?" "I don't know! Maybe! You should do somethinng! You've waiting too much!" "And if he doesn't like me?" "You'll know it if he likes you or not! Trust me!" "Ok, i trust you!" "If he likes you he make his move!" "I wish!" "Your dad will be home?" "Yes, but he'll be in the kitchen. He wouldn't leave it until i say it! He promised." "Good! Then we're ok!" "What do you mean?" "I mean that if something happened with Alex it wouldn't be nice Richie apears!" "You're right! I've never thought of that! Maybe i should lock him in the kitchen?" "What?" "No? It's ok an another time!" "Ava!" "Ok, none time!" "Good! So, what do you wonna wear?" "I'll wear a beautiful dress! Is just perfect!" "Don't say everuthing now! Suprise me!" "Ok! What are gonna do?" "What do you mean what i gonna do?" "You have to do something!" "With who?" "Zack!" "I don't like Zack!" "But why? He is good looking, cute, smart and available!" "Yes, i know all that but i see him just as a friend!" "Ok, you know better!" The bell rung. "Let's go we'll say the rest in the class!" Ava said and got up first. "Let's go!" Pauline and got up too.

The next days passed talking about Ava's party. All day they talked about every detail. Everything must be perfect. Because this party because this party will determine the life of the Ava but also the life of Pauline. Because in this party both will find the love of their lives.

Finaly the day that will change their lives has arrived. Ava got up in the morning very early to prepare the things for the party. She has to do a lot of things but she didn't care. She wants everything to be perfect for her first party in New Jersey. They will be next to the pool which Richie offered to clean and prepare for the party. The party will start at 21.00 and since 20.00 everything must be ready! Then Ava and Richie will go to prepate themselfs for the party. Everything was ready when the  bell rung. It was Jesse. Ava went to answer the door. "Jesse you made it!" she said  and gave him a quick kiss and hug. "You know that i would miss your birthday!" "Ax! I'm so happy that you came! Come inside!" she said and go a step back to let him in. "Are you alone?" "Yes!" "I thought tha Jennifer will come with you!" "We fight!" "You fight? Why?" "Because she wanted to go to a friend's party from an another school. You know that style 'My daddy has money and i do whatever i want' " "And why you didn't go with her?" "Because i don't like these parties Ava and you know it! And i wouldn't miss your first birtday party in Jersey for the world!" "Thank you very much Jess!" she said and they hugged tight. "You could do both!" "I don't think  so Ava. Is not the foirst time that we fight for this. You know sometimes a feel half and alone with her!" "You broke up with her?" "I don't know yet. We had some good time together!" "Good. Now let's dance and we can talk about it later!" she said and start dancing with Jesse.

The time was passing and more and more people are coming to the party except one, Alex. It was about 22.30 when the bell rung one more time and it was Alex. Ava went to open the door as always and she saw him in front of her. "Hey Ava!" "Alex you're here!" "I couldn't miss it!" "Nice. Come in. The party is in the pool." she said and looked at Alex who was walking to the pool. He was wearing a dark blue pair of jeans and a white shirt. His shoes were white and were matching his shirt. His hair were brown and his green eyes were shinning as always. While Alex was walikng he was thing the same things as Ava. She was wearing a pink dress with some white stripes from the waist down. She was wearing  silver heels with pink detail. Her blonde hair were down. She didn't put a lot of make-up. He likes her more in this way.

Jesse form outside was watching the way that Ava and Alex were looking each other. When Ava was alone he went to talk to her. "Ava can i talk to you for a second?" "Yeah, is there a problem? You don't have fun?"  "No, no i'm fine! Just what's up with this boy?" Jesses and pointing with his eyes Alex. "With Alex? We're just friends!" "Ava you are talking to me! Is he your boyfriend?" "No! Not yet!" "So you like him?" "Maybe a little. Ok a lot!" "Appently he also likes you!" he said and Ava turned to look at him but Jesse stoped her. "Don't look!" "Why?" "You'll show yourself! Let him make the first move!" "And if he doesn't?" "He will do it. Listen to me!" "Ok!" "Now, i'll leave you alone!" "Thank you Jesse." "Nothing! You know that you're my little sister!" "And you're my big brother!"

When Jesse left and Ava was alone was the perfect chance for Alex. He left Zack with the girls from the class and went to talk to Ava who was sitting in a table next to the pool. "Hey!" "Hey!" "Can i sit!" "Yes, of course!" "Very nice party!" "Thank you!" "I was thinking if you want to...dance with me?" "Sure why not!" Alex stand up and gave his hand to Ava to get up. Together they went in front of the pool. Alex put his hands  in Ava's waist and Ava put her hans in Alex's shoulder and start dancing. Jesse was sitting in a table with a botle of beer in his hand and he was looking at them. "My little sister is growing up so fast!" he thought.

The time was about 24.00 and Pauline wasn't there yet. And some have already gone after switching off the cake. They had only left Alex, Zack, some classmates and of course Ava and Jesse. The bell rung and Ava went to open the door. It was Pauline. "Pauline you did it!" "I told you that i was coming. Sorry that i'm late but it was lots of traffic on the road." "It's ok. I'm glad you're here!" "Alex is here?" "Yes, and we danced and on Friday we're going out together!" "You see i told you!" "Yes, you were right! Here take a beer." "Thanks!" "So tell me about you? How was the first match?" "We kicked them asses! 3-0 set!" "Did you play?" "Yeah, little in the 2nd set and the half of the 3rd!" "Well done!" "Thank you! My coach is very happy too! Now, tell me about Alex!" "I was sitting alone and he came and he told me if i want to dance with him. While we're dancing he asked me to go out!" "And you accepted?" "Of course and i did!" "Nice! I'll leave you now! He's coming!" Pauline said and she left them alone.

Jesse was watching Pauline sitting alone and he wants to go to talk to her because he likes her. Relatively tall, with dark brown long hair and a beautiful smile! She was wearing a black dress  at the beginning was narrow and from the waist down was becoming more inflatable. The dress was almost in higher than her knees. And he was able to look at her toned legs that ended in high-heels.He couldn't take his eyes of her. He felt a hand on his shoulder and it was Ava. "What are you looking at?" "Ava you scared the hell out of me!" "Sorry i didn't want to. What are you looking?" "The sky, the stars!" "Along with all this is Pauline?" "Pauline? Who is her?" "This one that you dawdle all time long!" "Is she new?" "Yes, she moved in Red Bank in June. She is Greek!" "Nice! I'm going." "Where?" "To talk to her!" "Ok go! Aaa, she is a fan!" "Fan?" "Yeah but the calmiest fan ever! Ask Jon he knows!" "Ok, then i'm going!" "Ok, good luck! And Jennifer?" "Who gives a fuck about Jennifer!" Jesse said and went to talk to pauline who was sitting next to the pool.

"Hello! I'm Jesse!" "Hello Jesse. My name is Pauline." "Very nice name!" "Thank you. you name is beautiful too!" "Thank you! So, are you from here?" "No, i grow up in Greece. I moved in red Bank in June." "Oh! You're new here!" "Yes, you?" "I live in Red Bank too. But i didn't grow uo in Greece!" he said and Pauline laughed. "How you and Ava meet?" he continue "You are classmates. How did you met her?" "My dad is pediatrist. Ava was customer. Then our parents became friends." "That's nice." "Have you eat cake?" "No!" "Stay here and don't move!" Jesse said and went very quickly to the kitchen and took the 2 last pieces of cake and went back to Pauline. "Here you are!" he said and gave her a plate. "Thank you. You are really fast!" "Thank you!" "That cake is nice!" "Yes, it is!"

The hours were passed. Pauline and Jesse were in the same position, next to the pool. They have been talking more than 2,5 hours. Ava hasn't bother them because their faces have a smile. a smile that she missed form Jesse. Their eyes were shinning as they were talking and never left each others eyes. Ava was collecting the glasses and gazing them when Richie appeared. "Ava what are looking at?" "Pauline and Jesse!" "Where are they?" "There next to the pool. They are there about 3 hours!" she said and poitning them. "Look how lovely they are together!" she continue "Really!" "Come on let's take that glasses in the house. And leave them alone!" "Yes, you're right!" Richie agreed and went into the house.

"The time has passed. And we're alone!" Pauline said "Yes, you're right!" "I must go back home. My mum will worry about me!" "Have you called her?" More that once! But she doesn't picking up the phone!" "Let's go inside. It's cold out there!" "Let's go!" Pauline said and they got up. Inside the house Richie and Ava were sitting on the couch. "Pauline, Jesse come here!" Richie said when they walking in the house. "We'll love that but we have to go back home!" Jesse said and Paulinhe agreed. "Jesse you came with your car?" Ava asked "Yeah!" "You Pauline?" she asked again "My mum left me and told me when i want to get back home to call her. But she doeasn't answer the phone." Pauline said holding in her hands her mobile phone. "Do you want me to give you a ride?" Richie offered. "No, Richie. It's too late and i don't want to put you in trouble! Thank you anyway!" "I can take you home!" Jesse said and both Richie and Ava freeze. "No, i'll call my mum again! Some day she'll pick it up!" "Don't call her again! I don't have a problem. You'll keep me company on the road!" "I don't want to be in your way!" "You live in Red Bank. I live in Red Bank too! You are not gating me out of my way!" "Ok, then!"

Pauline and Jesse said goodbye to Ava and Richie and went to his car. They climb in and put their seatbelts and start. The route was 20 minutes but Jesse make it 35 in order to be more time with Pauline. With Pauline instractions they arrived at her house. "Thank you very much for driving me back home!" "It's nothing! I had a great time tonight!" "I had a great time too!" "To arrange a day to meet again!" "Sure!" Pauline said and opened the car's door and went out. "Good night Jesse! Thank you for everything tonight!" "Good night Pauline! I thank you for everything tonight!" Jesse said and left. Pauline stay for a while and looking at him leaving and then she went to her house. Her mum was sleeping in her room. Her mobile was next to her an dit was silent. She wen tto her room and lied down in her bed thinking about Jesse. Jesse arrived at home. He went staright to his bedroom. He lied down in his bed. He tried to sleep and not to think about Pauline all the night.

Chapter 17: Richie Sambora In Female Edition

Richie went to answer the door it was David, Jon and Tico. "Welcome guys! Come in!" he said and make a step back to let them in. "Nice job Rich!" Jon said looking around the living room. "Thanks! Ava hepled me a lot if she wasn't here i would din't know what colour to choose!" Richie asnwered. "We already know that! Pour Ava!" David said and sut down on the couch. "Lemma move your ass we have an album to finish remember?" Jon said angry. David stand up and sighed. "Whaetever you say Captain!" "Richie where is the studio?" Tico asked. "Is from here! Follow me." Richie said and the guys follow him.

When they arrived at the studio Richie opened the door and left them get in first then he followed them. "Mmm! This is studio! Good job Rich!" Jon said and left his briefcase on the couch. "So Richie where are your guitars?" Tico asked. "In that door!" Richie answered pointing the door of his right. "All of them?" "Yeah all of them!" "Whoah is room must be very big!" "Yes, it is!" "We are gonna talk about his guitar collection right now?" David asked plaintived. "Ok Lemma we know that you have a piano collection! But we must say that everyday?" "Fine! My collection is better that his!" "Whatever you say Dave! Whateever you say!" Richie answered. "Guys! Enough with the talking. Let's go back to work!" Jon said unstrunged.

After a while everyone was in his possition and they start playing the first song of the new album.

Ava and Pauline they were just finished their project and went downstairs because Pauline wanted to say goodbye to Richie and take her way home. "Dad!" Ava yelled. None answered. "Dad!" she yelled again. No responce. For a moment they both stop to move. They were listening to a music coming form outside. "Can you here that?" Pauline asked. "Yeah, i hear it! It comes from the studio come on!" Ava said and went out of the house. "Studio?" "Just follow me!" she said and continue her way. When arrived at the studio Ava left Pauline to go first and then she followed. When the girls got in the music stoped. "Dad sorry that we interup you but Pauline is going home and she wants to say goodbye to you." Ava said. Before Richie could answer Jon asked. "Pauline? What are you doing here?" "Jon? I was doing a project with Ava. And you still remember my name?" "Is not been that long ago!" The rest were watchinng the chat between Jon and Pauline "Excuse me do you know each other?" Tico asked suprised. "Yes, we met in Soul Kitchen in her birthday one month ago!" "So, she is the calmest fan that you ever met." David said "I can say that too!" Richie said. "And i haven't intoduse you yet!" he added bot Pauline stoped him "It's no use i know who they are!" "Yeah but they dodn't know who you are!" Jon answered quickly "David here is Pauline!" On his right was Jon and naxt to him was Tico. On hir left was David. Richie hit the 'play' and start enjoying one more time. The other guys that they didn't see it before that look once to pauline and once to the phone screen. Pauline was so blussed that she thought she is gonna to blue out! Aften Livin' was Always which Pauline was singing it. Jon was with his mouth open he didn't expect from a 15 year old to sing like this way! When Aways finished Jon said first "Why you didn't say that?" "Say what 'By the way i play guitar too'?" "And sing!" Richie added "And sing? You are professionals i'm just an amateur!" Next was David "Whoah! Pauline you're Richie Sambora in female edition! Sambora you should take a lesson!" "Thank you David! But i'm not! The only thing i can tech you is greek or volley!" "Volley?" "Don't worry about that!" Richie said "Follow me!" he said and stond next to the door. Pauline was next to Richie and he opened the door. Pauline went in. she was looking around like she was lost! It was every giutarist heaven! Richie went after Pauline and then Ava, Jon, Tico and David. There were 2 rows that took all the room. It were electric, acoustic, double neck, triple neck, pavonine and monochromatic and much more that they can ot be metioned. "Pick one!" he said. "As much i want to chose a Les Paul i won't!" she started "I'll choose that!" she said and put out a ESP LTD SA-2. "Great choise!" he agrred "Picks are in the desk!" Richie said pointing a desh in the middle of the room. Pauline said tot he desh and opened the drawer and they were dozens giurats picks with Richie's signature and she took one. "Come on i wan tto hear her!" Jon said.

"You know Pauline i was thinking what song we would play at Christmass!" "And you have something to syggest?" "Yes, we must say 3 songs so we can say a song from each decade!" "Very nice idea! What do you think about the 80's?" "I'll be there for you!" "Oh! Perfect i was thinking the same!" "Good guys I'll be there for you!" Jon said and Tico and David went to their possitions. Ava and Pauline went to joined them when ava stoped. "You wouldn't come?" "No, we listen to you!" Jon answered "Pauline you know the song?" Richie asked "Of course and i know it!" she said and put the guitar. The guitar was in the height of her knees. "We have a little problem i'm not 6.1 feet!" she said and turned to see what she mean "Yes, right!"  Richie said and went to fix the destance "Better now?" "Much better! Thank you!" "Nothing! Get in!" "Ava, Pauline listen can you sing it together?" Both nobbed yes.

"thank you very much Tico!" she answered and turn to Ava "That was.... i don't know what to say!" "That was fucking awesome!" Ava answered and Richie faced her "Ava! Pauline screamed and start bouncing around the studio. But she stoped when she realized that she wasn't alone in the room and stoped. "I'm sorry! I was a little more exited!" They all laughed. "Come for one more song!" Jon said and all looked at herm with the puppy face. "Ok but stop looking at me like that!" "Wanted?" "Dead or alive?" "Yes, you don't know it?" "Is not that! The solo?" "The solo what?" Jon asked "Is Richie's!" "Don't worry we'll play it together!" "Are you sure?" "More that ever!"

Richie answered and went to take one guitar. Before the solo starts Pauline took a deep breath and start playing it with Richie.

She just made one more dream come true. The first was to go to USA, done! To second was to meet Jon, done! The third was to meet Richie, David and Tico, done! The fourth was to play the solo of Wanted daed or alive with Richie, done!

Chapter 16: Meeting The Idol

Saturday noon! Pauline get back grom the gym a little earlier to have the time to get ready. Fow one more time she doesn't know what to wear.  She excluded the red, brown and green. She reached in a light blue pair of jeans and a yellow T-shirt. She put her perfume and put her mobile in the back pocket. With the chocolate pie in her hands she get in her mum's car. After 20 minutes they arrived at the Sambora house. Pauline said goodbye to her mum and she was starring at the house! It was huge! It has 2 levels and it was painting in soft colours. She walked in the hallway and rung the bell. "Yeah?" "Hey Ava it's Pauline!" "Ok!" Ava said and opened the external door. Pauline get in and closed it behind her. When she was halfaway Ava opened the door of the house.

"Hey Pauline come in!" Ava said and Pauline walked in the house. On the couch was sitting Richie who immediately got up to meet Pauline. "Dad here is Pauline. Pauline here is my dad!" Ava said. "Nice to meet you Pauline!" he said and gave his right hand to Pauline. Her eyes went staright to his little star tattoo. "Nice to meet you too Mr Sambora" Pauline said and she gave him her right hand too. "You can call me Richie darlin'!" "Ok!" "I smell chocalate!" Ava said. "Oh! I made that for you i hope you like it!" Pauline said and gave to ava the cake. "Thank you very much!" was Richie's answer. Ava took the chocolate pie in the kitchen and left in the living room Pauline and Richie. Pauline was looking at the living room. It was too larg with 2 corner sofas, a very big fireplace and also a very big TV. On the other side of the house was a piano. Behind the piano was the garden and  a very large pool. "Pauline do you like the house?" "Yeah! Very much!" "I'm glad that you like it!" Richie answered and smiled.

Ava came back to the living room and said "Pauline let's go to my room and do the the project!" "Ok let's go!" Pauline answered. "Girls do you want to bring you something to drink?" Richie asked. "Yeah dad if you can bring us iced tea is in the fridge!" Ava said and turned to Pauline "Do you like iced tea?" "Og course and i like it!" Pauline asnwered and smiled. "Ok then go upstairs and i'll bring them in a few minutes!" Richie said and the girls climed on the second floor. When they get in in Ava's room Pauline sighed relieved. "Are you still nervous?" Ava asked. "No! It was too easy!" "Good! Now let's do the project!" "Ok! Do you have the questions?" Pauline asked when she sut down in a chair. "Yeah here they are! I looked at them before and the book doesn't have them all and you know what that means?" "Yeah! We'll serf on internet!" "Exactly!" Ava said and opened her laptop. "I've already found some answers do you want to write them down while i searching the net?" "That was exactly what i was thinking. Where do you have pieces of paper?" "In the third drawer." "Ok!" Pauline answered and took the pieces and a pen from her bag and start writting the answers. Ava went on google and start searching.

Pauline and Ava were working when a knoch in the door interaped them. "Come in!" Ava yelled. "Sorry to interrupt you but i brought you the iced tea!" Richie said and he left the disk on Ava's desk next to Pauline. "The time is 14.15 when do you want to eat?" Richie asked and looked at Ava and Pauline. "Now! I'm starving!" Ava said and pauline agreed. "What do you want to eat?" "Pauline have you ever eat sushi?" Ava asked. "No! But i'll give it a try!" "Perfect! Sushi then! I'll call you when the food is ready!" Richie answered and left the room. "Don't tell that he gonna make sushi?!" "No! It may be his favourite food but he doesn't know how to cook it!" Ava answered and both laughed. "Ava can i ask you something?" "Whatever you want!" "He is always like that?" "My dad?" "Yeah, you know with the smile in his face!" Ava didn't answer immediately. She wasn't sure if Pauline has to know about that. But she took the decision to tell her. "The most of the times! Only whem mum abandoned me was sad!" This time Pauline felt so bad about her question. "That was the reason that we moved from LA. You din't know it?" "Actually i thought that only Richie moved in NJ to be close with the guys! Ava you don't know how sorry i am.Just say that i didn't aske this question!" "That was the fake reason! The one i told you was the true reason!" she said and a tear crossed her cheek. Pauline moved with her chair next to Ava. With her hand she wiped her tear and said "Just forget this fucking question! I promise that i will NEVER say ANYTHING about that again! I'm so so so sorry!" "It's ok!" "And if you want to talk to someone just call me." Pauline and looked her in her eyes and they hugged. "Thank you very much!" "Nothing! This is why we have friends!" was Pauline answer kai she smiled. Ava did the same.

The time was passing and they girls were still working on the History project. The bell rung. "Food is here!" Ava said. "Hey Pauline come here to see what i found!" "I'm coming!" Pauline answered and went to Ava." This is for the 10th question. We should put it from the 3rd paragraph and after!" "Yeah you're right."

An another knock in the door. "Yes!" they both said and Richie walked in the room. He found Ava sitting on the chair and Pauline's hands were on Ava's shoulders and she was standing behind her. Just like how he and Jon were sitting when they make a record. The two girls were looking at him. "Dad! Are you alright?" "I'm fine! I just remember something! Come on the food is ready!" "Ok we're on our way!" Ava answered and Richie left again the room.

A few minutes later girls were downstairs. They all sut in the table. Ava next to Pauline and opposite was Richie. When thay sut down Richie asked Pauline. "Do you wan to bring you a fork?" "No thanks i can eat with chopsticks!" "Are you sure?" "Yes! Absolutely!" Pauline said and ate a bite. "Ava told me that you re from Greece!" "That's true!" "Did you like the consert?" "Yes, very much. But Youtube can not imparted the emosotions of that night!" "I'm sorry. Ava told me that you're a fan and i thought that... You know!" "Yes, i know! It's been a year i've overcome it!" "How did you told it?" "Tell what?" "That you're fan!" "Oh that! If i dodn't you'll understand it today. And i don't like lies!" "Ava and i we appreciate that!" "Thank you!" "By that way i like your necklece! Where did you get that?" "Thanks! I didn't bought it. My friend gave it to me the day i left Greece! And i don't know where she found it!" "You did good with the chposticks! It took me a while to make it!" Ava said suprised. "Thank you! My friend that sje gave me the necklece is from Japan. One day i wen tto her house and she teach me how to eat with chopsticks!" "And does she know how to make sushi?" Richie said "Yes, she does!" "I want to meet her!" "Sure! If she came here! Why not!" "Ava also told me that you play guitar!" "Yes, this is true!" "How did you started?" "I started whaen i was 10 years old in paino! The Christmass in that same year i went with my family in the center of the town and i saw a guy playing the guitar. I quit piano and i start guitar!" "Do you know any songs?" "Yeah many!" "Yeah i've seen them!" "You sing better that them!" "Fine!" Pauline said and put out her mobile from her pocket and gave it to Richie. Ava moved next to her dad to watch it one more time. First was Livin' on a prayer. With the intro Richie rolled his eyes. He didn't exept to be that good!  Is solo he didn't know if he must say anything! It was playing perfectly! Then was Always. Pauline was singing and playing guitar. Melina was playing piano. In the drums was Melina's brother. That was awesome! When the song ended Richie said "If you sing in you shower like that i want to be your shampoo!" Pauline and Ava laughted. "Thank you Richie!"

"Elizabeth" "Nice!" "Do you want me something?" "Yes! I want to make a tribute for my pafe and i don't know what!" "Ok! very young?" "I have done it!" "Do one with guitars!" "I have done that too" "SGE?" "I did it last week!" "Ok let me think!" Pauline said and start looking at Richie. "Do one with eyes or with Ava!" Richie and Ava blussed even more this time "Why i didn't think that earlier?" "I don't know!" "Pauline?" Richie said. "Maria hold on a second!" she said and covered the mobile with her hand.
